A Miami County woman who’s family is a fourth-generation farm family, has been appointed by Governor Eric Holcomb to the Indiana State Fair Board.
Jeanette Merritt has either been in 4-H or worked with 4-H for most of her life. Now, she can work for the program as a member of the State Fair Board. She was appointed to a four-year term on the governing board of the State Fair late last week.
Merritt currently works as a spokesperson for the Indiana Pork Producers Association.
