A Marion man who confessed to sexual acts with a ten-year old girl will spend nearly three decades in prison after he was sentenced Friday afternoon following a plea agreement.
28-year old James Roberts confessed to charges of Child Molesting for inappropriate relations with his then-stepdaughter. Roberts will spend up to 28-years in prison.
According to the “Chronicle-Tribune,” Roberts expressed remorse during Friday’s sentencing hearing and took responsibility for the crime.
