Marion Police say they caught a woman in the act of burglarizing a local apartment complex and discovered there were multiple warrants for her arrest for a number of other burglaries.
Wednesday morning, officers were called to the Norman Manor Apartments on North Washington Street, where a burglary was reported to be in progress. They saw a woman running from the scene and quickly apprehended her.
43-year old Misty Quintana was charged with Burglary, Theft, Resisting Arrest and Possession of a Syringe. But officers later found that there were a dozen outstanding warrants for Quintana on other charges of Burglary and Theft.
She’s now being held in the Grant County Jail.
