Strong winds knocked out power to much of Marion and other parts of Grant County early Sunday, leaving hundreds in the dark.
Indiana-Michigan Power Company officials say 50 mile an hour winds brought down trees, limbs and power lines and left about 43-hundred I & M customers without electricity, including much of the Indiana Wesleyan University campus.
Crews worked much of the day to restore power. I & M officials say all power was restored in Grant County by late Sunday evening.
