A Cold War-Era relic will soon be on permanent display at the Grissom Air Museum in Miami County.
A rare rocket sled used by the Air Force to test ejection-rescue systems for B-58 bombers arrived at Grissom late last week, and it’s the only one of its kind in existence.
The rocket sled won’t go on display until a permanent pad is built, but Grissom Air Museum officials hope to open it to the public sometime in April.
