Kokomo continues to grow, according to the U-S Census Bureau.
Census Bureau figures show Kokomo gained 179 residents from 2016 to 2017 and the city now has a population of just under 58-thousand residents.
Mayor Greg Goodnight says the city continues to grow because Kokomo is a good place to work and live and is affordable with continued increases in quality of life items.
