An historic home in Tipton County has been honored by the Daughters of the American Revolution with a National award.
The Dunham House in Kempton was the home one time of ancestors of former President Barack Obama. It recently won the D-A-R’s National Historic Preservation Medal for the efforts to restore it. The award is the top award given each year by the D-A-R.
