An arrest has been made in a high profile cold case in Fort Wayne that goes back 30-years.
Fort Wayne Police and Indiana State Police arrested 59-year-old John Miller in Grabill Sunday morning. Miller has been charged with Murder, Child Molesting and Confinement in connection with the 1988 death of 8-year-old April Tinsley of Fort Wayne.
Court affidavits say evidence collected since Tinsley’s death in 1988 included D-N-A that was collected from several locations, which all matched Miller. Police say he admitted to Tinsley’s murder and rape after he was arrested.
