Wednesday was the first day to file for school boards in the November election in Indiana, and already some have filed in two different districts.
Serafina Salamo was just appointed to the Marion School Board Tuesday night to fill a term that ends December 31st. On Wednesday, Salamo filed to run for a full term for that At-large seat in November.
Two incumbent Mississinewa School Board members have filed for re-election in November. Michael Crouch and Susan Miller are now seeking new terms on the Mississinewa Board.
The deadline to file for a school board seat is August 24th.
