Marion Police say a shooting incident early Friday at a home on South Selby Street damaged the home and a nearby vehicle, but injured no one.
Three women were inside the home in the 31-hundred block of South Selby when the shots rang out, but none were hurt. Police say 23 shell casings were found at the scene.
Police say the incident was apparently over an item that was reported stolen. Police say the incident is not related in any way to the rash of deadly shootings that have occurred in Marion in the past few weeks.
