Second Harvest Receives State Ag Grant To Feed Hungry

The Indiana State Department of Agriculture has given out 300-thousand dollars in grants to 11 regional food banks around the state to provide food assistance and services to Hoosiers in need.

Among the eleven food banks to receive money is Second Harvest Food Bank of East Central Indiana, which received just over 24-thousand-500 dollars.

The funding comes out of the state’s budget for fiscal 2018 as passed by the Indiana General Assembly.
