Kokomo Mayor Greg Goodnight will not seek re-election this year.
Goodnight shocked city residents yesterday that he would not seek a fourth term in office, saying he didn’t want to be someone who hung around too long in office.
Goodnight’s departure from the Mayor’s race this year should open the door to other potential candidates in Kokomo.
