Two teenagers face charges of Armed Robbery for holding up a Marion convenience store early Wednesday, but Police had no problem finding them.
The two teens entered the Circle-K store at Second and the Bypass just before 4 a-m Wednesday. One pointed a handgun at the clerk while the other demanded money. The clerk complied and they took cash, cigarettes and cigars and fled on foot.
But police only had to follow their footsteps in the snow to a nearby garage in the 13-hundred block of West Spencer Avenue to find them. After at first refusing to leave the garage, officers waited them out and they surrendered peacefully a short time later.
18-year old Dontell McClung of Marion and a 17-year old juvenile are charged with Armed Robbery With a Deadly Weapon.
