The Indiana State Police are looking into a crash involving a trooper that left two people from northern Indiana dead.
The wreck happened yesterday afternoon on the Indiana Toll Road near Mishawaka.
The State Police say a trooper was rushing to another crash when he smashed into the back of an SUV driven by 76-year-old Terry Wentworth and his 74-year-old wife Gloria.
They both died. The trooper was taken to a local hospital for treatment. The State Police say they are investigating the crash.
