The Draconid meteor shower can be seen Tuesday night into Wednesday, Oct. 9.
The Southern Taurid meteor shower will be visible Wednesday into Thursday. Despite fewer than 10 meteors per hour, these tend to be bright fireballs.
October is the peak for three showers. During peaks, meteors can be seen throughout the sky, not just one area, NBC reports.
