At the Oak Hill United School Corporation board meeting this week three community members petitioned the board to renew Superintendent Joel Martin’s contract, according to the Chronicle-Tribune.
The Tribune reports that two of those petitioners are Oak Hill bus drivers, who said well over 150 people shared the same view, but only 37 signed the petition because they feared any backlash from the board.
Board members voted against renewing Martin 5-2 back in August, with his contract set to expire June 30, 2020.
