DEA cracking down on Mexican cartels bringing meth into Indiana

Meth has made a come back in Indiana, thanks to suppliers like Mexican drug cartels.

But, some determined law enforcement agents are fighting back and putting the pushers away.

U.S. Atty. Josh Minkler and the DEA announced a series of arrests in southern Indiana.

Almost 20 people are looking at drug charges after last November’s raid at an Evansville motorcycle club.

Federal prosecutors yesterday released the names of 17 people indicted on drug trafficking charges after the raid at Evansville’s Grim Reapers Motorcycle Club.

Prosecutors say they found over 10-pounds of meth, 23 guns and $35,000 cash during the raid. Authorities say more charges may be coming.

The leader of the Grim Reapers Motorcycle Club was one of the people arrested.
