As Eastern Indiana Works continues to monitor regional economic conditions, our region is experiencing an increase in the number of individuals filing for unemployment. As a reminder, all claims for Unemployment Insurance MUST be filed online at https://www.in.gov/dwd/3474.htm.
As of today, two (2) of the Eastern Indiana Works’ WorkOne Offices are open to public access in Eastern Indiana (Muncie and Connersville). Due to the implementation of Social Distancing Standards to combat the spread of COVID-19, our computer access/resources for filing for Unemployment Insurance are very limited. Individuals attempting to file for Unemployment Insurance at any of Eastern Indiana Works’ WorkOne locations will experience extended wait times.
Eastern Indiana Works encourages those who have home internet access to file for Unemployment Insurance from their homes in order to avoid potential delays.
Eastern Indiana Works offers career coaching and enrollment services via TeleCoach. These options are for career coaching and enrollment services for Job Seekers but ARE NOT utilized for Unemployment Insurance filing.
