Now 39 Grant County residents have tested positive for COVID-19 as of Tuesday morning, according to Grant County Public Health Nurse Amber Turner. There remain 2 deaths.
This is up from 37 cases on Monday.
According to the Indiana State Department of Health, a total of 8,236 Hoosiers have now tested positive for the virus as of noon on Monday. That’s an increase of 331 since Sunday. 44,539 Hoosiers have been tested overall.
A total of 350 Hoosiers have died from the virus as of Monday, with a majority of deaths being those over the age of 60.
