In the interest of public health & safety and to assist in limiting the spread of COVID-19, the 2020 Senior Expo presented by Star 106.9, WBAT, 99.3 WCJC and 860 ESPN that was rescheduled for Wednesday, September 16 at the Grant County YMCA, has now been cancelled.
The cancellation is in line with directives from Governor Holcomb, the Indiana State Department of Health, and local Grant County officials to limit non-essential gatherings to no more than 250 people. We know that a cancellation is in the best interest of the health and welfare of our employees, listeners, attendees, and business partners. The support of everyone involved is sincerely appreciated, and we are looking forward to another successful Senior Expo in 2021.
Joel Pyle, General Manager, Hoosier AM/FM, LLC, said, “We looked at every aspect of this situation very closely, and while the Grant County YMCA has gone to great lengths to provide a safe facility, we determined with the support of the YMCA staff that canceling this year was the right thing to do.”
