The search for a spot to place a 300-foot radio tower could begin again. Terry Burnworth of Pyramid Architecture requested the county commissioners vote on memoranda of understanding for towers located at Walnut Creek Golf Course and Liberty Elementary School.
While the commissioners voted in favor of the Liberty Elementary memoranda, commissioner Ron Mowery said he would not vote in favor of a tower being built at Walnut Creek Golf Course.
Mowery said he is in favor of the tower project, but he stressed his desire to look elsewhere, asking Burnworth to come back to the next meeting with alternate locations.
