A Grant County woman is charged following the shooting death of her two-year-old son. Indiana State Police on Wednesday arrested 22-year-old Caci Seals, of Fairmont, for neglect of a dependent resulting in death. Seals’ two-year-old son, Leighton Owings, accidentally shot and killed himself on Dec. 15 with a gun he found in the bedroom of his home. Seals told police she was home at the time, feeding a baby in another room. Seals is being held in the Grant Co. Jail on a $100,000 bond.
