Indiana Family Health Council (IFHC) is excited to announce the opening of a family planning clinic in Marion, IN.
Marion Family Planning Center, 1001 N. Western Ave., Suite D will start seeing patients on June 1st and will serve insured, non-insured, and underinsured people in Marion and Grant County.
“Our commitment to offer quality and affordable reproductive services to Indiana has spurred our growth,” Kristin Adams, President and CEO of IFHC said. “As more individuals are in need of affordable family planning and reproductive care, IFHC is always looking for ways to expand and broaden our ability to reach new clientele.”
The clinic will offer confidential and quality reproductive healthcare to women, men, and adolescents. Services provided will include contraceptive care, regular exams, STD/STI screenings pregnancy testing and more. Hours for the clinic will be 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. with longer hours on Tuesdays.
“I am very excited to serve the residents of Marion and Grant County,” Kortni Keil, nurse practitioner for the clinic said. “We will offer an atmosphere where all patients feel welcomed and comfortable.”
IFHC administers the Title X grant, which provides funding for Marion Planning Center in addition to 13 subrecipient family planning clinics across Indiana. In 1970, Congress established Title X with bipartisan support. It is the only federal grant program for family planning and related preventative health services for low-income or underinsured individuals.
“As Indiana strives to improve its population health outcomes, IFHC contributes to this effort by assisting individuals in planning their families,” Adams said
An open house is planned for 2-6 p.m. June 24th, 2021 at the clinic. Visit www. ifhc.org for more information about IFHC and www. infpc for more information about Marion Family Planning Center.
