Federal court overturns decision on Indiana abortion law

Indiana’s abortion law is still being challenged but also–it can still be enforced. The federal appeals court in Chicago has overturned a district court order preventing certain provisions from being enforced until the case is resolved. That includes the state’s requirement that a woman seeking an abortion must first get in-person counseling and a physical exam.
