Fort Wayne woman could have cracked decades-old cold case

A Fort Wayne woman claims she is a girl who went missing from Virginia more than two decades ago. 7-year-old Brittany Renee Williams went missing from a foster home in Henrico, Virginia in 2000. For 21 years, it’s been a cold case. However, Kaylynn Stevenson of Fort Wayne says she is Brittany. Stevenson told NBC12 in Richmond, Virginia that she was adopted, and has foggy memories from her childhood, but has scars from catheters. Catheter scars were listed in the description of the missing girl.
Indiana FBI agents took a DNA sample from her in person, and now police in Virginia and the FBI are testing the results.
