Taylor University’s Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) will host its fifth biannual Shop the Loop Wednesday, Oct. 20, 2021, from 5-7 p.m. on campus between the LaRita Boren Campus Center and the Rupp Communication Art Center.
Shop the Loop is a marketplace for students to sell their goods and services. Vendors range from photographers to jewelry makers to homemade maple syrup makers, among others. The event encourages the community to support students who own small businesses or who have creative gifts that would benefit others.
“Since its launch in 2019, Shop the Loop has become one of the most loved events by students, faculty, and staff,” said senior Abriana Carnes, social media manager for Taylor’s PRSSA chapter.
Officials say that all event proceeds beyond what the vendors make for themselves will go toward PR student scholarships.
