House prices rose 13 percent since 2020

House prices continue to rise in the Hoosier state, according to MIBOR Realtor Association. Their study says the average price of homes specifically in central Indiana went up 13 percent, comparing September 2021 to September 2020. The average sale price in the Indianapolis market last month was $254,000, slightly higher than the average in August. The company says the number of houses on the market is still tight, although it’s a little better than it was in the spring and summer.
