A new scam has been going around concerning the Grant County Clerk’s Office.
According to Grant County Clerk Pam Harris, the department has received several reports of people getting calls from Springfield Jackson & Associates Attorney Tony Morgan, who has been threatening to put a lien on homes if he does not receive immediate payment.
Harris said the department does not work with this agency and stated that they will never make phone calls threatening to put liens on properties.
