Indiana children aged five to 11 are now eligible for the Pfizer COVID vaccine.
Parents or guardians can schedule a vaccine appointment starting at 8 a.m. today at ourshot.in.gov or by calling Indiana 211. The vaccine will be given in a smaller dose than what is given to older kids and adults.
Indiana is expecting an initial shipment of 200-thousand child-size doses. Governor Holcomb says he expects that’ll be enough to keep pace with what he hopes is a rush of parents getting their kids vaccinated.
