Ongoing inflation issues will affect your Thanksgiving meals

Inflation and supply chain issues have caused the prices of a lot of things in your life to go up this year, and that includes food that you’ll need to make your Thanksgiving meal with family and friends. Indiana Farm Bureau’s annual study says a family of ten in the Hoosier state will spend an average of $53.58 on items to make a meal this holiday season, like turkey, potatoes, rolls and pie. “That’s a 12 percent increase from 2020,” says INFB Second Vice President Isabella Chism. “But that’s still less than six dollars a person.”
