The omicron variant of coronavirus is believed to have fairly mild symptoms compared to the Delta variant. Those include a runny nose, headache, and a scratchy throat. But health experts warn omicron is very easily spread from person to person. Dr. Christopher Doering of Franciscan Health in Indianapolis tells WISH-TV even though it appears to be milder, if a large number of people get the omicron variant, the number of COVID deaths could go up.
