The Marion High School JROTC Precision Rifle Team is headed to the All-Army JROTC National Championship!
The Giants secured eighth place out of 45 precision teams and 240 individual marksmen in the qualifying match to advance to the championship.
The championship will be held at three geographical locations; the Giants will compete at Camp Perry, Ohio, Feb. 10-12, going in as the No. 3 seeded team.
Marion Cadet Alysa Yancey finished second overall in the competition and will be the No. 1 seeded shooter at Camp Perry. Other members of the qualifying team are Jaron Hofmann, Haden Montgomery, William Martinez and Adam Baird.
