Police in Anderson need help finding a 16-year-old girl. Jayda Johnson left during the night without permission, her mother told police on Dec. 9, from her home on East 36th Street. The mother also expressed concerns about her daughter’s safety and well-being due to a previous conversation about personal issues Jayda was having. Police said in a news release that they’d electronically located Jayda’s cellphone near St. Louis, but searches by police in Missouri did not find her. Anyone with information can contact Sgt. William Ray of the Anderson Police Department at 765-648-6663.
