Marion looking for someone to manage engineering department

The City of Mar­i­on will be accept­ing appli­ca­tions through Fri­day, Decem­ber 31^st, 2021 for the fol­low­ing position:

The City of Mar­i­on is seek­ing an ener­getic, self-start­ing indi­vid­ual for a full-time Man­ag­er of the​Engi­neer­ing Department. 

Job respon­si­bil­i­ties: Plans, directs and coor­di­nates the activ­i­ties of the Engi­neer­ing Depart­ment,​ADA com­pli­an­cy, LPA Coor­di­na­tor to the Indi­ana Depart­ment of Trans­porta­tion, MS4​Coor­di­na­tor to the depart­ment of IDEM, and super­vis­es ADA/​Sidewalk con­crete and asphalt projects.

Qual­i­fi­ca­tions: Com­ple­tion of Bach­e­lor of Sci­ence Degree in Civ­il Engi­neer­ing or equiv­a­lent field​expe­ri­ence; must have three (3) years expe­ri­ence in super­vis­ing and man­ag­ing staff, project and budgets.
