DNR to hold meetings on gypsy moth treatments

The Indiana Department of Natural Resources will hold eight virtual meetings to discuss areas proposed for aerial treatments of the invasive insect commonly known as gypsy moth. That moth is considered to be one of the most destructive insect pests that threatens rural and urban forests across Indiana. The DNR conducts surveys to find out which areas need treatments to fight gypsy moth. The meetings will be done on Zoom January 25, 27, and 31 as well as February 2. You can find more information at gypsymoth.in.gov.
