DNR encourages Hoosiers to stop feeding and handling birds as they investigate mysterious bird deaths

The Indiana DNR is recommending Hoosiers remove their birdfeeders, as they continue to get reports of sick and dying songbirds in 15 different counties. The DNR is working with the Indiana Animal Disease Diagnostic Laboratory to determine what is causing these birds to die. You’re being asked to stop feeding and handling birds, and clean your bird feeders and baths with a 10% bleach solution.
