Two people have died following a weekend house fire.
According to Grant County Coroner Stephen Dorsey, two bodies were found in a structure fire at 120 1/2 N. Nebraska St., at around 9:30 p.m. Jan. 16.
The bodies were identified as those of 49-year-old Russtina Costner, the resident of the building, and her friend, 39-year-old Billy Cotter.
According to the Chronicle-Tribune, the Marion Fire Department responded to the call with its entire shift and spent nearly five hours working to put out the flames. Officials say the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
