The Grant County Sheriff’s Department Reserves are accepting applications until May 1, 2017. Volunteer position. Reserve Deputies assist jail and patrol divisions. Must be at least 21 years old, have a high school diploma or GED, a valid Indiana driver’s license, must pass extensive background check, polygraph exam, Indiana Law Enforcement physical exam and a 40 hour training course. Must be willing to volunteer a minimum of 12 hours a month. Applications can be picked up Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Grant County Sheriff’s Administrative Office.
